BOMA celebrates its 50th anniversary: Let's rethink cleaning & celebrate!

The jubilee year began with our traditional New Year's reception. In January, Flemish and Walloon Bomitos got together for a surprising and friendly evening of bowling. To make this year even more special, we created a unique gold logo incorporating the number '50', which is a symbol of our dedication and success over five decades. This marked the start of a year of celebrations. Each team in our four countries¿-¿the Benelux and France¿-¿received festive kits with banners, balloons, stickers, and other colorful decorations to brighten up their workspaces

In May, BOMA really shone at the Interclean Trade Show, where our BOMA Café became the go-to meeting place for our clients and partners. And the atmosphere? Unforgettable! There were appetizers and music to end each day of the event on a festive note.

After all, what's an anniversary without festivities! On August 27, BOMA's official founding, all employees enjoyed delicious cakes to celebrate this special moment together. It was a sweet pause to mark half a century of success.

Sustainability is a core value at BOMA. As a proud partner of River Cleanup, we took part in the 10-Minute Challenge to raise awareness about protecting the environment. Each branch collected waste, culminating at our headquarters in Noorderlaan, where we were joined by River Cleanup participants. And the result? An impressive amount of waste was collected, demonstrating our shared commitment to a cleaner future, both in the office and beyond.

The highlight of the year was without a doubt the Let's Celebrate Cleaning party held on September 19 at Waagnatie in Antwerp. Around 1,200 BOMA customers, suppliers, and colleagues came together for a memorable evening. On arrival, guests were welcomed by a timeline showcasing 50 years of progress and key milestones in the cleaning industry, sparking both pride and appreciation.

The evening began with a speech from the current owners, followed by an invitation for the founders to join them on stage. This moment highlighted the importance of our roots and BOMA's legacy. The room came alive with food trucks serving a walking dinner, creating a relaxed and sociable setting.
