On the job with BiP¿-¿Cleaning Masters' experience with the app
For some time now, Cleaning Masters has been using the new BOMA in the Pocket app to manage its cleaning activities. This handy tool that not only makes ordering faster, easier, and more fun, but also allows users to request machine maintenance and chat with their BOMA contact. It was time to check in on things. Tom Weyers interviewed Hiel Vibe about his experience with BiP.
Which of BiP's features do you currently use the most?
"What I find especially helpful when I'm looking for a specific product and can't find it quickly, is the ability to check view related or compatible items. Before, I used to waste time figuring out which dust bag fits which vacuum, but with BiP, I can find the answer right away. That saves me a lot of time and spares me a great deal of frustration. Plus, thanks to the tracking system, I can easily and quickly see where my order is. As for the ordering process itself, it's quite intuitive; just scan the item, choose the quantity, and you're done!"
What advantages does BiP bring to your work?
"With BiP, my work becomes smoother and more precise. For example, if I want information about a machine at one of my locations, I just scan it with BiP, and I immediately get all the relevant details. And it's the same with products: I scan them and all the information comes up, including the technical and safety data sheets.
Would you say BiP is a clear and intuitive app?
"Yes, I find BiP very clear and easy to use. Everything flows naturally, and there's no fear of making mistakes. Installing it on my phone was also hassle-free; the app was simple to find in the App Store, and the QR code I received by email worked perfectly. In the printed catalog, searching is harder and more tedious. That's why I do all my searches in the app. It's much faster and more complete."
What do you think of the information available in BiP?
"All relevant information is available, and the technical and safety data sheets are very easy to find. In my opinion, user manuals and videos are also great assets for the end user. I'll definitely use them to keep my team as well-informed as possible!"
Have you ever submitted a maintenance request?
"Yes, I tested the system last week, and it's very helpful to be able to attach photos and videos to show the issue as clearly as possible. This saves time for both parties. It's a true win-win situation. The tracking options are also an enormous advantage. They allow me to easily see how well a particular machine has performed, so I can get the most out of it."
Have you ever contacted 'inside sales' via the chat?
"Yes, I sent a message through the chat this week. I had a question that wasn't too urgent, so I didn't need to call or email. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly and clearly I got a response through BiP. And for other cleaning-related issues as well, it's really convenient to be able to attach photos and videos to my question."
What would you say is the main difference between DosDob and BiP?
"I feel like I can work faster with BiP. Digital lists are much more useful than paper ones. You can't lose them, they're easy to read, and they're better for the environment. It allows me to save a lot of time by adding things right away instead of having to remember to do it later."
To wrap up: do orders take less time than they used to?
"Absolutely! And it's even more enjoyable too."
